Remembering Gregg Allman – Melissa
Stewart had mentioned the that he loves Greggs song Melissa and that we should learn it a while back. I (Robert) was reminded of the song again on a recent Saturday morning and decided to learn the guitar parts. After reading through the lyrics, Stewart decided we had to take a run at doing it. We rekeyed to B major and broke out my 8-string baritone and put down some tracks. MaryRose added flute while she was here and we’ve worked the vocal tracks in some detail and finally would like to share this with everyone in memory of Gregg Allman.
